I have wanted orange hair for a very long time now, but the only way to really achieve it would be to bleach my hair first, which I really don't want to do (not again anyway. I bleached my previously black hair about 3 years ago, and the condition of my hair has not been the best since). I tried using some orange semi permanent dyes, but they just didn't work. However, yesterday I came across this shade named Mango by L'Oreal. I am really rather pleased with the results - ideally I would love it to be much, much brighter though! It was just so nice to find an orange shade of hair dye at last, rather than the reddish purples that I always see, and that remind me of being a teenager!
Wow what a gorgeous colour! Im so tempted by it but have never died my hair before. Do you think you could explain how you do your hair like that with the plait? It looks very cute and im in desperate need of a way to cover up my grown out 'do!
ReplyDeleteLOVE this colour! Ahhhh, its beautiful, so summery + unique! Wish i had the guts to do this, haha:')xxx
ReplyDeletelovely! I want to bleach the ends of my hair but I'm too scared. I need to take the plunge x
ReplyDeleteYou should get a bright orange dye from Manic Panic or Stargazer or something and mix it in with your conditioner to dilute it a bit. I used to do that with red dye, it works a treat to keep things bright!
ReplyDeleteDepending on how orange you wish to go henna might be the way forward. Even brown shades of henna seem to leave a red orange ting. It will help the conditioning of your hair too.
ReplyDeleteawesome shade you achieved on your hair. It looks fab x
