hello deer

This is my new deer, which I have added to my ever growing collection.  It was only 50p, and the elderly lady in the charity shop actually said "ooh that's a bit expensive" when she saw the price.  I must add that I did pay more than asked for my bundle of goodies, I just can't rip off a charity, especially an animal charity.  I also found this pack of vintage buttons for £1.  Just. So. Amazing (and a tad creepy).

I have had a relatively relaxing weekend really, which I feel is much deserved after a rather stressful week.  I still haven't really got all of the jobs on my weekend to-do list ticked off though...  I was supposed to list a heap of things on eBay today, but that just didn't happen.  I have been trying to be ruthless since the new year, and have been getting rid of tons of clothing that I just don't wear.  My new approach to clothing now is to just buy things that I love and that I know I will wear i.e. I can think of things in my wardrobe that they will go with.
However, this new way of thinking has caused some problems, because since this brainwave, I have seen many many beautiful things that I would like.  This week I got some new boots and a cardigan, and then, I saw the Topshop coat that I have wanted all winter in the sale online.  oops.  I literally have no money left and it's the 2nd week in February!
Apologies for the blurry phone photograph, but I thought I would share one of my outfits from this weekend (couldn't really show you today's, which consists of a dressing gown)
dress Topshop
cardigan Dorothy Perkins
tights Accessorize
boots Asda

This really sums up everything I love at the moment - lots of shades of brown!  And I am so glad that I brought this daisy Topshop dress a few months back, I have been wearing it so much!

I hope that you have all had a great and relaxing weekend too :)

PS New items are now in my shop
PPS Steve is featured in Wolf Magazine, which you can download or will be available in print in a few months - what a proud girlfriend I am :)
