film forever, digital never!

Discovering a roll of undeveloped film could possibly be one of the most exciting things to ever happen to you.  Steve found two rolls of black and white film last week and sent them off to be processed, and when delivered, he found that one of them was full of 'posey' shots of myself and my friend Joey from when we lived in halls during our first year of University - 5 years ago!  I took the photographs for my course and was inspired by the 1920s flapper girls.  My hair was really long and black then (I just pinned it all up for these poses!)  To quote Joey's response to the tagged photograph of her on facebook: that is why digital will never replace film!

Certainly brings back a lot of memories :)

  1. Aw! Ickle Katie :D I love film too, I found 3 films last week that I want to develop. But you might be able to help, if they have expired will a photo shop like Snappy Snaps still develop them? x

  4. I love film, simply because the moment you get it developed you get butterflies about seeing your photographs.
What a lovely nostalgia trip back to your student days! x

  5. How exciting! I have some films from about 6 years ago that I've never got developed. I don't think I ever will...those memories can stay on the film!
