tea and cake

Me and Steve were up at 6am today (6am, on a Sunday, in January!).  It was all for a good cause though, we headed north to Nottingham as Steve was taking some photographs of our friends band Yunioshi.  The shoot was in a cafe called The Walk on Bridlesmith Walk in the city centre.  I didn't even know that this amazing place even existed until today!  The cafe is full of weird and wonderful curiosities, sells beautiful and yummy cakes, and tea is served in vintage teapots with vintage cups and saucers.  It's wonderful.  It's the kind of place that I could imagine myself owning one day.

In other news, there are some new items in my Folksy shop, and all of the letter tile badges are currently 2 for 1 until next Saturday (I thought that this would be the ideal offer with Valentines Day approaching, one for you, and one for your loved one :) )  I have also been busy with some more new product ideas, which I will hopefully find the time to photograph and post about very soon!  But until then, here's a preview of my new necklaces, one of which I have kept for myself and wore today!
Hope that you've all had a splendid weekend, I'm so not ready for Monday...

  6. I absolutely love that place, I've been known to shop in Nottingham, even when somewhere else would be more convenient, just to have lunch there!
